The goal and purpose of Music Ministry is to enhance the experience of worship by heightening the Word of God with music and to provide beauty to the liturgy through music. Through strong musical leadership, music ministers strive to enable the song of the assembly to encourage full, active and conscious participation. Cantors & Instrumentalists also minister to the assembly by providing music which allows and encourages spiritual reflection.
Cantors: The Cantor Ministry is a beautiful ministry for confident vocalists looking to share God’s Word through song. They are required to know extensive repertoire and to learn new music quickly. This ministry is an extremely rich ministry that leads the congregation in song and also leads prayer services, etc. depending on availability. Cantors also participate in the Liturgical celebrations of Funerals & Weddings as well as the High Holy Days throughout the Liturgical calendar liturgical year.
